Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update wait nearly ends
All the good news came last night via Samsung, and Sammy pulled out a few decent products out of the bag that were very exciting indeed, even though we were over the moon about these devices we are more intrigued about the Samsung Galaxy S3 Android Jelly Bean update and the wait nearly being over.
The best selling mobile smartphone is the Samsung Galaxy S3 and at the moment everyone is enjoying Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on their device, it is now known officially thanks to Engadget that the SGS3 WILL receive the Jelly Bean 4.1 update next month, yes that is September 2012.
There is no exact date as of yet but we are on the ball and will notify all our readers.
Apparently if sources are correct, the Samsung Galaxy S2 will be gaining the Android Jelly bean update also and yet again no date has been officially announced, at least it is a good start to know it is coming and the wait will be over.
More good news for Android users, if you have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S2, you can sit pretty that you will be getting the Jelly Bean flavour within the next month, roll on September as they say.
Last night announcements included the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with all the features and specs revealed at last, a new Samsung Galaxy Android-based camera will be released soon, during IFA 2012 in Berlin Samsung announced their new Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 based Ativ devices and these include the Ativ Smart PC, Ativ Smart PC Pro, the Samsung Ativ Tab, and the Windows Phone 8 Samsung Ativ S smartphone, read more about this here.

Better hurry up and get onto the S3, because I really don’t want to root my phone or waitmmuch longer!
Eh. I’ll believe it when I see it. Just two weeks ago, Samsung announced JB rollout to S3 on 8/29.
Well, it’s 8/30, and now they’re saying maybe, possible, could be sometime in September. Maybe.

Are you sure it was samsung, or some tech website spitting rumors. All I heard were rumors about that, no official confirmation from sammy
Samsung haven’t officially announced a date at all in the past. It’s all been rumours, speculation and ‘leaked data’ upto this point.
That was only a rumor, the only official news from Samsung is “very soon”, which is already not true in my understanding of the definition of “very soon”.

i got an update automatically on my s3 and after that its locked i am unable to unlock it its asking for a network key but its not accepting it is there a problem with this update.
And if Samsung releases it in September to Rogers, when does Rogers release it to its cusomers? Is there a way to root the phone so that these things come to the S3 when google releases them without the layers of stuff Samsung and Rogers add?
I hope the famous battery drain concern (so called “Cell Standby problem”) will be resolved with this JB update…..

Please stop these “coming very soon” jelly beans news. They are just annoying. It’s been coming “very soon” for long time already. My guess is mid October, if you are lucky to have the right carrier.
