@twitter-104119433:disqus the other carriers are, they are just so Apple minded they are slow on the launch…… its a shame we have to wait for a decent network

On the one hand I’m really fed up of waiting for this phenomenal beast but on the other hand I feel that the longer I wait the more likely I am to get a model with the split screen multi tasking mode… but then again, who knows?

Just bought it sim-free on Amazon and it should arrive on Thursday. Checked BillMonitor for sim-only deals and found a T-Mobile tariff with 600 mins 5000 texts and unlimited data for £6.92 per month (7 months redemption). Makes it 200-300 quiz cheaper overall than through contract.

I was in the CarPhoneWarehouse shop today and they said they gonna have it on T-Mobile tomorrow the 3rd. Wanted it on 3 but there’s no 3 signal at my workplace.

  5. Sarah says:

I’m so disappointed that t-mobile doesn’t even mention the note 2 on its website and has no idea yet whether it will be receiving the phone directly. I wanted to use my upgrade but was told to either go to Carphonewarehouse or phones4u. Such limited foresight!

for those who are confused over the galaxy note 2 whether it can run on 4g the earlier models (1st Oct) do have 4g LTE incorporated in the device bit will not work in the Uk as there many band widths. It will probably work in the USA and South Korea. The latter models due to come out (15th Oct) will run on 4g but only only on contract through EE. NO pay as you go but that might change later date. Hope this helps

  7. Birinder Randhawa says:

the advantages for the galaxy note 2 on 3g models is they can have any sim to be operated in the uk providing its unlocked. With 4g you will be tied to a contract through EE .

  8. Birinder says:

an update on the gt7100 will not work on uk 4g though the handset does have lte 700mhz. The uk runs on 1800 mhz. The handset will work on at&t and verizon in the usa who have the same bandwidth
