Samsung 10.1 Galaxy Tab 2 & ATIV Smart PC, AT&T offerings

If you are a fan of mobile tech you are currently being treated to a whole host of new products that are hitting the market. Whether it’s a new smartphone or tablet PC you are thinking of buying, there are currently products that fit most budgets and requirements. US carrier AT&T has increased its range of offerings with the Samsung 10.1 Galaxy Tab 2 and the Ativ Smart PC.

The company recently announced the availability of the two devices which will start in its retail stores from November 9th, with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 costing consumers $499.99 for the Ice Cream Sandwich running Android tablet.

While the Windows 8 running Samsung Ativ Smart PC hybrid device will cost AT&T customers $799, with both of the slates also taking advantage of the carriers 4G LTE network. If you are an AT&T customer looking to get yourself a new Samsung Galaxy handset in the coming weeks the carrier offer you up to $100 off another Samsung device that includes both the Galaxy Tab 2 and Ativ Smart PC when taken with a new two year contract.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 sports a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, which is powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. There is 8GB of built in storage that can be expanded by microSD card, and providing the juice is a 7,000 mAh battery unit.

The Samsung Ativ Smart PC meanwhile uses an 11.6-inch HD PLS display that is powered by an Intel Atom dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and there is 64GB of on board storage that can be expanded further via microSD card.

There is also an optional keyboard dock available for the device that will set you back $49, or a VGA adapter that is priced at $40 which will allow users to connect the device to an external display. Are you interested in either the Galaxy Tab 2 or Ativ Smart PC?
