Google Nexus 10 hitting stores early

At the beginning of last week Google provided a number of press releases detailing some new Nexus hardware along with another version of the Android Jelly Bean operating system. The likes of the Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 will be available from November 13th but it seems that the Google Nexus 10 is hitting stores early before release.

The device made by Samsung has seemingly been hitting stores early in the US, as the Android Community are reporting the image below has been provided by the XDA Developers and shows the Nexus 10 sitting on the shelves in a Walmart store.

There are reports of a number of different Walmart stores across the country having stock of the Nexus 10 already, and rival retailers such as Staples may also have the device already on offer. The price in Walmart is the same as on the Google Play Store with $499 getting you the 32GB version, but the device is listed for shipping from November 13th.

Since it was officially announced the Nexus 10 has impressed many with the highest resolution on a tablet yet at 2,560 x 1,600, which is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 5250 dual core processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM, and potential purchasers can pick between 16GB and 32GB of onboard storage.

The device will obviously come running the new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system that has some new features and improvements. For tablets this will include multi user support allowing users to have their own personal homescreen, apps, widgets, games, and backgrounds with the ability of switching users quickly without having to log on and off.

Are you planning to go out early and get the Nexus 10 or have you already pre-ordered one?
