Movember and Sons 2012 moustache growing charity via Mobile

During this month, November turns into Movember, whereby many men across the globe refrain from shaving their top lip in order to grow a moustache to raise funds for charity, and in particular to raise awareness of testicular and prostate cancer, a very worthy cause indeed. Guys who enter the fund raising must start November without a hairy top lip, and have to grow their moustache for the entire month.

So with this worthy cause in mind we thought we’d offer our readers details on the Movember Mobile app, which is available for download for the both the iOS platform, and the Android platform. With the Movember Mobile app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android devices, the user can register at Movember.com, and the app will deliver key functions to assist the user with every aspect of their fund raising campaign.

The app will help you request donations from your device, track team, personal and worldwide donations, enable you to recruit your friends to join the Movember campaign, delivers the ability to update your status on your Mo Space, along with tracking your ‘Mo-gress’ with a Mo Tracker along with the ability to view health cards.

The iOS version of the Movember app has also recently received an update to support iOS 6 and the iPhone 5, along with performance improvements, and bug fixes. The Android version of the app has also been updated with fixes for Facebook login problems, and media and photo issued on the Samsung Galaxy S3, and fixes the initial Restart from Google Play.

For those iOS and Android guys out there that would like to take part in Movember 2012, those with an iOS device can grab the app for free from iTunes, and likewise Android users can download the free app from Google Play.

Any of our readers going to be growing a moustache during this month for this worthy cause?
