Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for iOS and Android release date
If you are a lover of stealing cars along with killing anyone in sight, then you are probably a fan of Grand Theft Auto. And if you are, and own an Android device or iOS device then you are probably awaiting the arrival of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to hit your platform. Well fear not because you don’t have that much longer to wait.
We previously reported that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City would be releasing to the iOS and Android platform soon, but now thanks to Slash Gear we can report that the release date for the much anticipated game is the 6th of December.
The game will become available as of that date on both iTunes and Google Play and command a price tag of $4.99, and will be compatible with virtually all devices including the iPhone, iPod Touch, Apple iPad, iPhone 5, Android smartphones and Android tablets.
The list of supported Android handsets is quite lengthy and includes the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S2, Galaxy R, Samsung Galaxy Note and Note 2, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, HTC One X, One S, Droid Bionic, Motorola RAZR, Motorola RAZR MAXX, MAXX HD, Photon, Atrix, Evo 3D, Xperia S, Xperia P and more.
As for Android slates, they include the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2, Galaxy Tab 8.9/10.1, Motorola Xoom, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, HTC Flyer, Sony Tablet S and Tablet P, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Transformer Prime, LG Optimus Pad and more.
The Android devices that have been listed are some of the devices the development team have tested and confirmed, so no doubt more will be added over time, and if you happen to grab a copy and it works fine on your device, no doubt they would be happy to hear from you.
Apparently Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for iOS and Android will feature native resolution graphics along with enhancements that are unique to mobile, and has been especially turned for iOS and Android, whilst updated characters will become available throughout the game.
Will our Android and iOS gaming readers be visiting iTunes and Google Play on the 6th of December to garb a copy of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City?
