Sony Xperia E Android 4.1 single and dual SIM imminent

Sony has now introduced yet another smartphone to their ever increasing Xperia range of devices. This time the firm has introduced the Sony Xperia E, an Android smartphone that will be competitively priced and will become available in both single SIM and dual SIM variants, and in three colour options, whilst apparently enabling users to stay on top of cost and power consumption.

According to Sony Mobile, the Sony Xperia E smartphone offers outstanding HD voice quality along with noise cancellation, and a data usage app monitors just how much is being spent, whilst an extended standby mode will increase the standby time of the handset by up to four times.

Spec wise the Sony Xperia E sports a 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen along with a 1GHz Snapdragon MSM7227A processor, a 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera, VGA video recording, 512MB RAM, A-GPS, Bluetooth, DLNA, WiFi, WiFi hotspot functionality, built-in WALKMAN app including xLOUD tech, 3D surround sound, and a manual equaliser, 4GB internal memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB, and will run Android Jelly Bean 4.1.

The Sony Xperia E measures 113.5 x 61.8 x 11mm with a weight of 115.7 grams and sports a 1530mAh battery that is said to offer up to six hours of talk time and up to 530 hours of standby time.

As mentioned before, the Sony Xperia E will become available in both single SIM and dual SIM models, with the single SIM version being available in black, pink and white, whilst the dual SIM model will be available in black or gold.
