HTC Butterfly X920e unlocked price down under

The international version of the unlocked HTC J Butteryfly, which goes by the moniker HTC Droid DNA over in the good old US of A is known as the HTC Butterfly X920e, and if you have been patiently waiting to snap up the HTC Butterfly X920e down under in Australia, you just might like to know that the Android smartphone has now become available to purchase by the Australian Android falithful.

For those on the other side of the globe that would like to own the Android Jelly Bean smartphone, Mobicity has the HTC Butterfly X920e up for sale commanding a price tag of AUD849.00, roughly $891US and sold as an unlocked and SIM free handset, with a shipping date of the 18th of this month.

For those down under that might have forgotten, the HTC Butterfly X920e sports a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution Super LCD3 touch screen with Gorilla Glass 2 protection, an 8 megapixel rear facing shooter, 1080p video, a 2.1 megapixel front facing snapper, a 1.5GHz quad core Snapdragon S4 processor, Adreno 320 graphics, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and microSD expansion.

The HTC Butterfly X920e is also DNLA certified, and features WiFi hotspot functionality, HDMI support, GPS, HTML5 support, YouTube, Google and SNS integration a 3.5mm jack, a 2020mAh battery and comes with 25GB of free Dropbox online storage for two years.

Although the international version of the HTC J Butterfly is now available to purchase in Australia, the smartphone has yet to see release over in Europe due to reports that the company has been struggling to keep up with demand for the smartphone, so it is a bit unclear just when the device will surface in Europe.
