Lenovo ThinkPad Helix Windows 8 Tablet with ultrabook specs

#

There are many tablets on the market, and we would like to talk a little more about the Lenovo ThinkPad Helix Windows 8 Tablet with ultrabook specs. This is a stunning convertible that combines ultrabook specifications with the portability of a tablet, say hello to the lovely looking 11.6-inch 10-point multi-touchscreen.

The ThinkPad Helix comes with key features including Windows 8 up to Pro operating system, up to 3rd generation Intel Coreâ„¢ i7 processor, 1920 x 1080 IPS display with pen input, up to 256GB SSD storage, up to 8GB DDR3 memory and up to 10 hours battery life, the tablets weighs 1.8 lbs and 3.8 lbs with the keyboard.

This just about smacks down most tablets on the market, other features include the screen made of Gorilla Glass and bright 400nit IPS panel, it is built around the “rip and flip” design, which means you can use as a tablet or when attached to the keyboard use as an ultrabook laptop. We love the fact it has a five-button glass clickpad and a stunning design to boot, this surely will be a winner for those wanting a Windows tablet.

Is there any real difference between the ThinkPad Helix and the ThinkPad Tablet 2? There is a slight difference because the Helix is a business-class Ultrabook and acts like a tablet when not attached to the keyboard, it is basically a powerful computer but for those that want portability. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 may have many of the same features but what is different is that the ThinkPad Tablet 2 is a tablet first and the Helix is an ultrabook first in a way.

Other Helix Features: Near Field Communication aka NFC, the keyboard dock has Ethernet, VGA and mini DisplayPort connections and 2 USB 3.0 ports; the Helix does not have SD Card or microSD Card reader.
