Lenovo Ideaphone K900 gets release date, price MIA

The Android platform is being treated to a constant stream of new smartphones with some better than others, but now the stylish looking Lenovo Ideaphone K900 has got a release date with pricing still not known for the handset.

Lenovo first showed the world the Ideaphone K900 at the CES 2013 event in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year, and after passing the relevant approvals the handset will be available to consumers from May 6th.

The handset has a Full HD 5.5-inch display that is powered by the Intel Clover Trail processor that is running at a 2GHz clock speed coupled with 2GB of RAM, so the handset is certainly no slouch. Other features include a 13-megapixel rear facing camera that has a Sony Exmor RS lens, and standout features include a Wireless Display feature that gives users the option of displaying content to a TV wirelessly.

It also has a fast charging mode that will see the handset fully charged in only ninety minutes on a device only measuring 6.9mm thick in a stylish metal body, and the smartphone will launch running the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system straight from the box.

Currently the company has yet to reveal any pricing for the handset or if the Lenovo Ideaphone K900 will be arriving in markets outside of China.
