Samsung Galaxy S5 foldable abandoning S4 design debate
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is an outstanding smartphone and was launched not so long ago, but hot on the heels is the Samsung Galaxy S5, and the thoughts of abandoning the S4 design is a debate well worth discussing.
We have to sit and wonder what Samsung will do to better the Samsung Galaxy S4; there are many new ideas when it comes to concepts. We have already looked at one new Samsung Galaxy S5 design courtesy of Concept Phones, and now we have a new design thanks to MobiLeaks.
If you look below you can see a new Samsung Galaxy S5 concept, which shows off a whole new design that would abandon the Galaxy S4 rounded edges. There are no details on what this new S5 will feature, but we are here to talk about the design only.

Just imagine the Samsung Galaxy S5 looking like the concept below, remember the flip phone? Well, this concept brings the foldable / bendable AMOLED display. The photo shows the Galaxy S5 fully opened and next to it how it would look when folded, we love it.
To have a smartphone that can fold would allow the Galaxy S5 to have a larger screen, and one that will not be too bulky in the pocket etc. This concept is only 7.5mm thin when open and when closed it is around 15mm thick, we believe they can get the size down more.

Well i really don’t like the S3 or S4 design, i much prefer the S2 more business like look. Which is one major reason why i have not upgraded.
The HTC One is much better looking, wish they did a black/dark coloured version.
i think there is a black colored one but not every where i am guessing
I agree wid u david. Personally I also don’t like the design of s3 or s4 but still I hav s3. S3 is slow for me. Sometime I disappointed wid its performance. Iphone5 hav much better performance against s3
I still using galaxy s2.i love it and it still rockz.i hate s3 & s4 coz of the curve design.i prefer s3 & s4 more to girls.for me design is more important to guys.i love s4 but i want the design of the s4 looks like xperia z.

I would not touch that with a10 foot pole. Firstly it fails on the basic premise of flipphones… You need a screen on the outside on the closed flip… You do not want to have to open the phone just to see the time or see how is calling. Secondly having a foldable screen shots not mean you can fold it 180 degrees. This design choice really means you would have 2 screens that would be adjacent to each other.
Also flip phones at least in my hands would break in no time.
I agree…I also haven’t upgraded my S2 because I prefer the design and it’s still performing perfectly.
