The HTC Butterfly is not what you call the best for Android updates, and if you are into flashing ROMS etc then we know you will love this new Android 4.2.2 update with Sense 5.1.

HTC have not yet released this new update, but thanks to XDA developer Zarboz the dump is now available via the XDA thread.

The video below is great and gives you an idea of what to expect, obviously if you do decide to go ahead you do so with caution, Phones Review will not be held responsible for anything that should happen to your HTC Butterfly smartphone.

If you visit XDA you can get the OTA and the Dump there, if you watch the video below you can get a better insight of what to expect.

We can see a standard shortcut for Settings along with a quick setting for brightness, there are also shortcuts for Power Saver, Data, Bluetooth, Auto Rotate, Sound profiles, Hotspot, Airplane mode, WiFi and Screenshot shortcuts. It would be good to see the 4.2.2 update with new Sense 5.1 for the Droid DNA or the Sprint HTC One.

Hopefully in a few weeks time we can let you know what Android devices this Custom ROM can be ported too, in the meantime if you have tried this on your HTC Butterfly smartphone please come forward and be the first to comment?
