Sony Xperia ZR price & release disappointment: Netherlands only
The new Sony Xperia ZR running Android Jelly Bean is another waterproof smartphone, and today we can reveal the price and release date. If you are in the UK, Germany or France etc then you may be a little disappointed because we only have the price and release date for those in the Netherlands.
Even though you can purchase the Sony Xperia Z around the world, we must point out that you will not be able to buy the ZR in most European countries, this one is restricted to Sweden, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands.
The Sony Xperia ZR will release in the Netherlands in July for €479, now lets talk about the smartphone itself and show you a love YouTube video.
Smaller than the Xperia Z the ZR features a 4.55-inch HD display, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, NFC, 13MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, LTE connectivity, MicroSD card support, water-resistance, and yes you can record under the water as well.
The main differences between the Z and ZR is the price really, level of display and a few other features, the ZR can submerge under water of up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes, please remember that you cannot take into swimming pools as this would breach public rights, unless you have your own swimming pool.
Just hope we do not get to see pictures on Facebook of people trying the Xperia ZR whilst having a bath.
