Shipping in July is the brand new Getac Z710 7-inch Android tablet for rugged field services, this tablet is so tough you can just about take it anywhere. It does not matter if you are in the army or you are an explorer, field engineer etc, it will handle the pressure.

The Getac Z710 has also been Zone II/22 certification, which in a nutshell can handle explosive situations; it combines technology that can be relied on.

The 7-inch rugged tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system and also features 1024 x 600 resolution touchscreen, this is so good you do not have to take your gloves off to use the touchscreen, keep them on and work away.

Other features include a 1D/2D CMOS barcode reader, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus; it even has a HF RFID reader.
