US smartphone company BLU are famous for providing consumers lower priced hardware and the company has now announced the BLU Dash 4.5 that is already available to purchase. The handset features a 4.5-inch FWVGA LCD display at a resolution of 854 x 480 and 218ppi pixel density, and powering this is a quad core MediaTek MT6589M processor clocked at 1.2GHz.

This is paired with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU for the graphics and 512MB of RAM and is running a stock version of the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Other specifications include a 5-meagpixel rear facing camera with auto focus, LED flash, HDR support, and 720p HD video capture.

Around the front is a VGA unit for video conferencing and there is support for HSPA+ 21Mbps, Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, and on board storage comes in at 4GB that can be expanded further via microSD card while powering the handset is a 2,000 mAh battery.
