Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean 4.2 update may release any day
The rolling out of later versions of the Android operating system can be a touchy subject among many users of the platform. While many users just wait patiently for the new software to arrive others want the various updates like yesterday. Now the Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update release date has been tipped again and could arrive any day.
Back at the end of May there were hopes raised that the latest version of the Android OS would be hitting the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 during the month of June. This obviously didn’t happen with news of a delay surfacing, but now the update is being tipped to arrive sometime this month, and considering we are almost half way through July if accurate it could arrive in a matter of days.
We recently saw the official software in a new leak that contained some improvements from the version that was seen before, so would have meant that any issues with the firmware were being ironed out with a release getting closer.
The new Android update will also bring some new Samsung features that are found on the Galaxy S4 such as Smart Pause and Smart Scroll, and this will come with all the new Android goodies that will be arriving with the full details of these can be found here.
Obviously once the software is pushed out by Samsung users will have to wait for the various carriers to get their acts together and do their own testing and adding features to the software, which could add a lot of time for its arrival for some.
My personal version of the smartphone is unlocked so hopefully it will be one of the first to receive Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean, and when it does we will notify you of its presence and should also mean that the Galaxy Note 2 will be getting the update around the same time.
