Samsung Galaxy S3, Note 2 should skip 4.2.2 for Android 4.3

#

We all know that Android 4.3 is coming soon and it would make total sense to skip the 4.2.2 update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Note 2. Why install 4.2.2 onto these smart devices when 4.3 is going to be released and everyone would just install that anyway.

We found a new report over on Temefy suggesting Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will be jumping onto the Galaxy Note 2 and S3 totally skipping Android 4.2.2 JB, this really does make sense. Looking at Temefy and its Alexa global rank of 807,354 you cannot call this a reliable source, hopefully they are correct because this would be great news.

Please remember this is just a rumor and should not be taken seriously until the official news has been released, it is very exciting to say the least that the Note 2 and Galaxy S3 could get 4.2.2, but if they do decide to skip in favour of Android 4.3 then that would be a better option.

If Android 4.2.2 was to say come next week and then 4.3 was released say a month or two later, wouldn’t it be worth just waiting for Android 4.3 as the developers could spend more time making this update the best it can be?

Samsung are relatively slow at releasing updates at the moment, but this is because they keep releasing product after product leaving them no time to worry about the customers they already have. In a way they are like many other companies worrying about new customers rather than the loyal ones they have.

No release dates have been set for either Android 4.3 let alone dates for 4.2.2 update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2. There was hearsay that 4.2.2 for the Note and S3 would release in November this year, makes you wonder if Samsung will skip both 4.2.2 and 4.3 in favor of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, now there is a thought.

Would you prefer Samsung skip Android 4.2.2 in favor of 4.3 for your Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3?
