Android 4.3 Wi-Fi problems continue, update wanted

#

It is not unusual for new mobile software to have some issues shortly after it has been released and this is certainly the case for a number of Nexus owners that have had issues, and the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Wi-Fi problems continue with an update wanted.

There have been a number of issues affecting Nexus owners especially it seems those that have the Nexus 4, but the latest problem has been affecting the Wi-Fi when automatically reconnecting. The problem has been troubling both Nexus 4 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners, and happens if the device moves out of range of the Wi-Fi network.

It seems that when the device is back within range the connection is not picked up again like it should, and it seems the only way to fix this is by either turning the Wi-Fi off then on again, or by reconnecting manually via the available networks list.

While some may seem this as minor it can be a major headache to keep going through this process, and there is a chance that users could be unwittingly using a data connection when they would normally be downloading via their Wi-Fi connection.

This can also use more battery life and users will be hoping that Google quickly push out an update to address the problem, with many now probably wishing they never updated the device in the first place. The issues don’t seem to be affecting all users though and the Nexus 7 we have in the office has worked fine since updating it to Android 4.3, while others haven’t been so lucky.

Have you had any problems with Android 4.3?

No problem with Android 4.3 works very well. WiFi receipt is better and the above suggestion doesn’t hold water. Neither on Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4 or Nexus 7 having a problem (oh eh, Nexus S still running well also).
Windows phone, what a joke; nobody will take that serious unless you would like a device where everything just is one big bug.
