Mophie battery cases have a great reputation and today we’ve heard that the Mophie iPhone 5 Juice Pack Helium battery case now comes in 5 new color options.

Way back in February we wrote about the arrival of the Mophie Juice Pack Helium battery case for the iPhone 5. As well as offering protection for your iPhone 5, these ultra-slim cases have a built-in 1500 mAh battery.

Previously the iPhone 5 Mophie Juice Pack Helium battery case was only available in Dark Metallic or Silver colors, but Mophie has now extended the color range. The Juice Pack Helium battery case for the iPhone 5 is now available in further colors of blue, green, pink, purple and red, as well as the original colors offered.

These are gorgeously vibrant colors that many iPhone 5 users are likely to appreciate, and a nice departure from the more standard colors already available. They offer the same features as the original cases, with the same good protection, and a matte finish.

The iPhone battery and Juice Pack Helium battery case gives a combined battery capacity of almost 3000 mAh, and that will give users around six hours of additional 3G talk time, around 7 hours of video playback or up to 7 hours more Wi-Fi.

The cases also allow access to the ports and function buttons of the iPhone 5, feature a microUSB charging port, standby switch and an LED power indicator. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack adapter plus acoustical speakers that are forward facing.
