HTC One Mini launched and priced for India

HTC has been busy this year as the company looks to offer consumers some worthy alternatives to its rival’s smartphone offerings, and now the HTC One Mini has been launched and priced for India.

Towards the end of last month we told you that the handset was due to arrive in the country after it appeared on the company’s official website, and now the HTC One Mini has been launched in India for a price of Rs. 36,790.

To recap your money will provide a smartphone that features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display at a resolution of 1280 x 720 and 341ppi pixel density. This is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual core processor running at a clock speed of 1.4GHz.

This is coupled with 1GB of RAM while other features include a 4MP UltraPixel rear facing camera with BSI Sensor and LED flash, while around the front is a 1.6-megapixel shooter for video calls and self-portraits.

Powering this is a 1,800 mAh battery while there is 16GB of on board storage, and software wise is the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system along with HTC Sense 5.0. The handset also comes with BlinkFeed, and Beats BoomSound.

We have seen a number of mini variants of smartphones launched this year that includes the Galaxy S4 Mini, but the one to beat them all looks set to be the Sony Xperia Z1 f that has just been launched in Japan.
