Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 update leaks before release

#

Samsung is currently working hard to update a number of its smartphones to later versions of the Android operating system, and now the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 update leaks before release.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 are next in line to receive the Android 4.3 update now that the Galaxy S4 has started to receive the new firmware, and we have already seen the software leak for the Galaxy S3 and now it’s the turn of the Galaxy Note 2.

A test version of the software has now been leaked for the handset with a version number of N7100XXUEMJ5 with the final build ready for the public expected to get pushed out soon. The update will bring Galaxy Gear support to both handsets as we have already heard that Samsung is going to bring this to a range of devices soon.

Other new features are set to include the likes of Samsung KNOX and Wallet along with some changes to the TouchWiz overlay which will also see some features ported over from the Galaxy S4, and we have also seen some Galaxy Note 3 features working on the Note 2 before the update arrives officially.

The firmware has been made available for those that are brave enough to download and install it onto their handsets, but as always only do this at your own risk. The company is reportedly releasing a new test build every few days to iron out any bugs or problems so this firmware may still have some issues.

Are you going to install this software or wait until the official version becomes available?

You should do if it is unlocked. The update is being rolled out in the November month regionally, when in November i don’t know but Samsung is sticking to it’s word on that.
