HTC M8 One hands on video shows design

#

It seems the mobile world’s worst kept secret this year so far is the replacement handset for the HTC One that is due to be launched later this month, and now the HTC M8 One for 2014 has appeared in another hands on video that shows the handset clearly alongside last year’s model.

The handset has appeared in retail listing and a video before but this latest one discovered by the guys over on Engadget shows the upcoming smartphone alongside its predecessor. The reviewer in the video tries his hardest to cover up the two handsets unique IMEI numbers, but it shows how the new HTC One for 2014 compares to the current flagship device.

It is clearly seen that the new HTC One has twin rear facing cameras with a different flash unit, and the sensor on the front of the device has moved. The HTC BoomSound front facing speakers are again present, but the buttons below the display have now been moved to the screen itself.

The video that is over 12 minutes long also gives a look at BlinkFeed and we are also shown what is claimed to be the microSD card port. Strangely the user says its running HTC Sense 6.6 but as he tries to show this the version is protected. This version of the handset is on AT&T which has recently been leaked, and the design of the handset is really liked by the reviewer.

Camera wise the handset is praised but the app keeps crashing but is put down to the fact that it’s a developer version of the upcoming handset, but check out the full video and tell us what you think of the HTC M8.
