Today we have a video to share of the Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. Vivo Xplay 3S. The flagship Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone was recently unveiled to a waiting public and will release in April. It has top-end specs and will be a dominant force in the Android market.

A lesser-known device with impressive specs is the Vivo Xplay 3S. The Xplay 3S was due to arrive first in China back in January but has only just starting releasing in limited numbers. It features one of the first Quad HD displays in a smartphone and as such is likely to attract interest.

Key specs of the Galaxy S5 include a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of storage (expandable to 128GB via microSD) and a 5.1-inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 and 432 ppi. It also has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

Highlights of the Vivo Xplay 3S include a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (not expandable), and a 6-inch display with that Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 490 ppi. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and runs the earlier Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.

Some of these are a wide-angle lens, stereo sound, and higher ppi.
