#

If you’re in India looking for a new phone then you will probably have heard of the Nokia X and Micromax Bolt A075 that have both recently arrived on the scene. Both will be available in India shortly, so today we’re looking at the Micromax A075 vs. Nokia X Dual SIM in a bid to help you decide between them.

The Micromax Bolt A075 recently appeared on the company website without a price but is up for sale at an online retailer (see source below) with a price of Rs. 6,499 and a delivery time showing of March 12th. Similarly the Nokia X Dual-SIM is shown on the Nokia India site with no pricing at this stage, but it is also being sold online with a price of Rs. 8,499 and a delivery time of March 27th.

However, it’s worth noting that online prices and delivery times often change and these prices are not yet official. We’ll highlight the key specs of each of these dual SIM phones so that you can see what they have to offer.

The Micromax A075 has a 1 GHz Cortex A5 dual-core processor while the Nokia X Dual-SIM has a 1GHz Snapdragon 400 Play dual-core processor.

The A075 has a 5.2-inch TFT LCD display with resolution of 800 x 480. The Nokia X has a 4-inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 800 x 480.

RAM and Storage
The A075 has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD to 32GB. The Nokia X has exactly the same to offer in this respect.

Battery
You’ll get a 2200 mAh battery on the A075 or a 1500 mAh battery for the Nokia X.

Operating System
The A075 runs the rather old Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich while the Nokia X runs a special Nokia X software platform, based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Connectivity
The A075 offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPRS, EDGE and USB. The Nokia X has 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPRS, EDGE and USB.

Dimensions and Weight
The Micromax A075 measures 151.7mm x 81mm x 10.8mm and weighs 225g. On the other hand the Nokia X measures 115.5mm x 63mm x 10.4mm and weighs just 128.7g.

As you can see from the above details there are many similar specs with these two handsets and the pricing isn’t too far apart. One of the major differences is the display size and the overall size of the handsets, so if you want a smaller and lighter device the Nokia X might be your choice. However, the Bolt A075 has a bigger display, better camera offering and larger battery.

Are you about to buy one of these two handsets and if so, will you choose the Micromax Bolt A075 or the Nokia X Dual SIM?
