Sony Xperia T2 Ultra touted for release in US

#

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra release recently looked as though it was getting nearer after a leak of retail packaging for the device in China. When it was first announced in January it was said that the device would be limited to some regions including China, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, although we soon heard of pricing for Europe and the UK. Now it looks as though the Xperia T2 Ultra will also be released in the US, and in particular on T-Mobile.

Prolific leaker @evleaks, the source of usually reliable information, has now tipped that T-Mobile US will be selling the T2 Ultra, although no timeframe or pricing was supplied. Given his reputation though, we would say we’re more inclined to believe this than not. There’s also the point that T-Mobile has previously offered Sony handsets, so this wouldn’t be an unlikely move.

For now it’s a case of wait-and-see but if you’re in the US and hoping to get your hands on the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, this seems like a promising indicator. Are you hoping to purchase this 6-inch Android phablet?
