Windows Phone 8.1 camera app shown on video

#

Leaks about Windows Phone 8.1 have been steadily trickling out, and this will be a significant update over Windows Phone 8. Just some of the changes we’ve heard of so far include the Cortana voice assistant, new hardware support, Action Center notifications and IE 11. Now the Windows Phone 8.1 camera app has been shown on video.

The YouTube video that we’ve embedded below comes from UnleashThePhones and claims to be of the Microsoft Camera app that will arrive with WP 8.1, and in some ways it’s pretty similar to Nokia’s camera app. Shown on the video are the revamped UI with a cleaner design, camera settings shortcuts, and easy ways of choosing between camera modes such as photo, video and burst.

We expect Microsoft to give more details about WP8.1 at the Build Conference next month, but in the meantime it would be interesting to hear what you think of the camera app via the comments box. From what you’ve seen so far, are you eagerly anticipating the Windows Phone 8.1 upgrade?
