iPad 2 says goodbye

#

We posted early today regarding the iPhone 5C and now Apple have announced that they are no longer selling the iPad 2, as it is being replaced by the (much better) iPad 4 (4th generation).

For the same £329 you now get a retina display, double the RAM an A6X processor and a Lightning port, why would you not love this change.

Three years ago the iPad 2 was market leading, but in the last year or so it has been showing its age. While still usable, at £329 it was no longer a great option and seemed rather overpriced, with the retina Mini available for the similar amount of money, even the entry-level Air was a mere £70 more in comparison.

The iPad 4 at the same price is much better value and should remain a good performer for at least a couple more years.

This is a very welcomed change and hopefully these types of changes continue to happen, but what do you think about this change? Let us know down below.
