It was Samsung that originally kick started the craze for handset manufacturers to release so called mini versions of their flagship devices, and now the Galaxy S5 Mini specs are supposedly confirmed in a new rumour.
We have been hearing talk of a mini version of the Galaxy S5 for a while now, but a new report from a reliable source is claiming to know the confirmed specifications of the handset. The device will feature a 4.5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, and is thought to use the quad core Snapdragon 400 processor.
Other specs are down to include an 8MP rear camera paired with a 2MP front facer, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 2,100 mAh battery, IR blaster, and the Android KitKat operating system straight from launch.
It is also thought to feature some sort of waterproofing just like the Galaxy S5 with a launch expected sometime in June.
