Nexus 5 Android update for Sprint bringing bug fixes

#

There have been loads of things affecting some owners of the Nexus 5 mainly with the battery drain issue that has become a major problem. In the meantime a Nexus 5 Android update for Sprint is now rolling out to end users.

It is being reported that US carrier Sprint has started to push out an update to the Nexus 5 that has a build number of KTU48F, and also it enables Sprint Spark on bands 26 and 41. The firmware update is listed as having “miscellaneous Android updates”.

Of course the update will be rolled out in stages so won’t reach all end users straight away, but you can manually check for its availability via the handset itself by going to the main Settings option before selecting About Phone, and then System Updates. It makes you wonder if this update is in fact Android 4.4.3 KitKat though.

Have you got the new firmware update yet?
