Sony Xperia Z2 pre-orders resume, availability a few weeks away

#

Sony is looking to strengthen its position in the Android smartphone world this year with the arrival of some more flagship devices, and now pr-orders for the Sony Xperia Z2 resume although there is still a wait for the handsets availability by a few weeks.

Back in March pre-orders for the Sony Xperia Z2 were suddenly stopped ahead of official confirmation that there would be a delay in the release of the handset for some. Now the official Sony websites have begun taking pre-orders for the smartphone again in Europe with availability down for early May.

This news comes as the handset starts arriving for some users in the UK via a couple of well known retailers, while from the official Sony online store the handset is priced at £599.99 unlocked, although you do get a free SRS-BTX300 NFC speaker.
