LG Optimus Zone 2 and Extravert 2 added to Verizon pre-paid lineup

#

Although we enjoy bringing news about some of the very best mobile devices available, we always remember that there are still plenty of people who want a more affordable device. With this in mind we thought we’d tell you about the LG Optimus Zone 2 and Extravert 2, which have just been added to Verizon’s pre-paid lineup.

These are both sequels to previous phones offered but you won’t get the joy of LTE service as these are both restricted to 3G. The LG Zone 2 has a 1.2GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, a 3.5-inch display with resolution of 480 x 320, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. It also has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1700 mAh battery and somewhat surprisingly for a pre-paid phone it’s powered by the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It’s priced at $49.99.

Moving on to the LG Extravert 2 (pictured above), this is a featurephone that has a 3.2-inch display and uses the Opera Mini browser. It has a 2-megapixel camera, a physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out, and features Auto-Reply, enabling users to let people know that you are busy or away via a text message. This one is priced at $79.99.

You can find out more on either of these phones at the Verizon source links below. Do you think you might opt for the LG Optimus Zone 2 or the LG Extravert 2?
