Last year HTC decided to join the phablet smartphone market with a supersized version of its 2013 flagship handset, and now we have news of the HTC One Max as it sees an unlocked price drop that includes a free gift.

The HTC One Max arrived during the second half of last year, and as we found in our review of the device it offers a lot of phone for your money. Now ahead of any HTC One M8 Max coming out later this year online retailer Clove has lowered the SIM free price of the handset.

You can now pick the HTC One Max up for £469.99 which is a saving of £120 compared to the retailer’s previous asking price, and while stocks last the company will also throw in a free official HTC D180 Car Cradle for the handset worth £40.80.
