HTC One M8 vs iPhone 5S, no clear winner

#

The HTC One M8 is a recently released flagship Android smartphone that is winning plenty of admiration, including praise for its design and build. The Apple iPhone 5S hardly needs an introduction and is also a phone that has a sleek and impressive build. Today we have an HTC One M8 vs. iPhone 5S comparison on video that could help you decide between the two.

If you are not completely committed to either the Android or iOS operating platform then these could both be on your shortlist as your next smartphone purchase. The YouTube video that you can view below this article is a 15-minute comparison that comes from Phone Dog and gives some good pointers about what these phones have to offer.

The video begins with some nice close-up looks showing the styling of the phones, and the form factor size difference is immediately evident with the HTC One M8 being the larger of the two. After showing the designs it goes on to detail aspects such as pricing, display and processor specs, audio, camera performance, software experience and more.

It would be easy to assume that the more recent HTC One M8 would be a clear winner, but in fact the reviewer feels that in this case both have plenty to recommend them and offer a great user experience. When you’ve checked out the video below we’d be interested to hear your views on this. Which do you think would suit you best, the HTC One M8 or the iPhone 5S?

HUge difference – Iphones work, and Apple supports them.

HTC makes horrible phones, and gives no support other than “reinitialize your phone, and put everything back by hand”. I had an HTC Incredible, and it worked for about 6 months, and I had CONSTANT problems with it after that.

I also had an old Nokia from 15 years ago, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t come a long way since then. I also had an HTC incredible and it was HORRIBLE. That’s bc it had a single core processor, no memory and no ram. They’ve come a LONG way, buddy. I haven’t tried the m8, but I have an m7 and as I’m sure you heard, it was smart phone of the year HANDS DOWN. I’m just saying, you can’t in any way dismiss this phone over an ancient droid incredible. No one is told not to get an Apple phone because a 32 dollar iPod shuffle sucked a d. Put the iPhone down and do some research.

Biased review !! Its so clear he’s an iPhone fanatic. And for the fact of ‘no clear winner’ that means the HTC is far superior

It’s pretty obvious to me that the reviewer is an Apple fan. That causes me to suspicion that I would probably up the rating of the HTC somewhat. Seems likely that Apple has a more powerful user advertising clout and, maybe, support system. Personally, I think the HTC One was Under rated and its sales undercut by news emphasizing HTC’s corporate struggles. I’m rooting for HTC myself!
