Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.4 update available for India

There’s some great news today for readers in India who have the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Recently we told how the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update had started to roll out for the international version of the phone. Now the Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.4 update is available for India as firmware files are available.

The official update to 4.4 in the form of 4.4.2 KitKat can now be downloaded for the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) in India and it has firmware build number N7100XXUFND3. Current buyers of the Galaxy Note 2 in India still receive it running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, so there are likely to be plenty of users who will want to update to Android 4.4.2.

    It is the worst update as you will not be able to save things on the sd card and so 1 more feature is dead. Not worth updating.

    I think the option to select the runtime is not available..Reviews says that ART runtime is better than Davik in terms of performance and battery life.. hope Samsung will include it in the next build. .

    Nothing has changed.. the only positive is that I coupd dwmload the google camera from the playstore ..I dont even see the samsung wallet app ?? Whats going on ? Looks like another half baked update from samsung.. disappointed !

    Got the kitkat 4.4.2 update for my note 2 in India via OTA. It upgraded to kitkat without any problems. All my applications are running smoothly. And all my data is intact.
    Connection to Wifi network has sped up after kitkat update. One of the change i noticed after update.

    Please please Do Not Upgrade your phone to KitKat 4.4.2
    Trust me, you will find wifi issues, I feel it is the biggest drawback.
    Not much changes in User Interface.
