#

Many see the 8-inch tablet as the ideal size as it offers more screen real estate compared to the likes of the Nexus 7, and is not so big to carry around like 10-inch models. Today we have news of a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 price cut that is enticing.

We have seen the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 being treated to a price cut before, and today we have news of another on for consumes in the US. Online retailer Amazon will sell you the tablet PC for only $249, which is a saving of $150 on the usual asking price.

For your money you get an 8-inch display at a resolution of 800 x 1280 at 189ppi pixel density, which is powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. This is coupled with 2GB of RAM running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

Internal storage comes in at 16GB but of course this is expandable by up to 64GB via microSD card, and you get a 5MP rear camera paired with a 1.3MP front facer.

Are you tempted by this deal?
