Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 vs Galaxy Note 10.1, advantages shown

#

Samsung has a huge array of tablets already available and recently introduced the Galaxy Tab S in 8.4 and 10.5-inch sizes. These will release in July and one of the main competitors for the larger version is another Samsung device, the Galaxy Note 10.1. Today we’re sharing a video of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 vs. Galaxy Note 10.1 that shows the advantages of each.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) released last October and has been another big hit for the company, but there’s a huge amount of interest in the new Galaxy Tab S 10.5 with one of its highlights being a Super AMOLED display with resolution of 2560 x 1600. The YouTube video that we’ve embedded below our story today comes from Total Tech War and rather than a long-winded comparison this concentrates on the strongest points of each of these two tablets.

It begins with the benefits of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (pictured here) when opposed to the Galaxy Note 10.1 and a few of these are a fingerprint sensor, a brighter display, and it being 20% thinner than the Note 10.1. The next part focuses on the advantages of the Note 10.1 over the Tab S 10.5, with a couple of pointers being a 64GB option and use of the S Pen stylus. This information could be helpful if particular factors of a tablet are important to you.

Further aspects for each are shown on the comparison video below so do check it out for more. You may also be interested in two more recent comparisons we’ve shared, one showing the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 against the Retina iPad mini here, and another of the iPad Air vs. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 here.

If only the Note 10.1 were having the same size as the Tab S, it would be great. I still prefer buying the Note though, looking at the S Pen features. Hope that the Kitkat update for the cellular version will arrive soon!
