The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet went official in May and at that time we heard it would be available in several variants sporting Intel Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 processors. Only the Core i5 models have been readily available so far but that’s all about to change. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Core i3 and Core i7 models are now available for the US and also Canada.

The cheapest priced Surface Pro 3 is the base model with 64GB of internal storage and a Core i3 processor at $799. Alternatively if you want to go big with the Intel Core i7 processor, you’ll find the 256GB flash storage model has a price tag of $1529 or the 512GB model is a whopping $1949.

The Surface Pro 3 tablet/laptop includes a 12-inch display with 2160 x 1440 resolution and 216 ppi, and runs the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. Availability of the Core i3 and Core i7 models is good news for potential buyers of the device in North America as it’s always a bonus to have extra options.
