LifeProof iPhone 6 Plus waterproof cases
The iPhone 6 Plus will be hitting shelves in just a few more days. Although it has some impressive specs and features it’s not water-resistant as some other top devices are, such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Sony Xperia Z3. Therefore buyers might be interested to hear about LifeProof iPhone 6 Plus waterproof cases.
LifeProof is a well-known accessories maker and so its iPhone 6 Plus waterproof cases are likely to be pretty popular. The company hasn’t actually released the new cases for the iPhone 6 Plus yet, but they will be drop proof and also waterproof so that your phone is well protected when out and about.
Although the waterproof cases are not available just yet, LifeProof has posted a YouTube video about them as a teaser, and we’ve embedded it beneath this article so that you can see a little more. As you’ll see if you check out the video they are shown simply as “coming soon.”
LifeProof states that the case’s waterproof qualities mean that your iPhone 6 Plus can be used to take photos underwater. The company adds, “You’ll be able to take your new phone everywhere with you, whether it’s mountain bike riding, surfing, snowboarding, running, or to the beach!”

Pricing isn’t listed just yet but as an example the LifeProof frÄ“ case for the iPhone 5S is priced at $79.99 while the iPhone 5S nüüd case has a price tag of $89.99.

I would love to order this lifeproof case but I’m very disappointed the otterbox has already released it cases for the iphone 6 and the 6 plus 4 days ago his makes me not want to buy from lifeproof because there not on the ball with things they keep saying coming soon, what is soon to them?!?! Very disappointing!!!! I ordered my iphone 6 plus we will see the day my phone comes what case I will be buying because if lifeproof is not available and still says coming soon I’m going with otterbox. They do say the most reliable cases release first maybe I should just go with otterbox since they were released first. Whatever it’s just very disappointing that lifeproof is not on the ball.

Even though otter box owns life proof, the cases are substantially different. If you compare the otterbox to the lifeproof you can see why they come out faster. All otterbox needs is the dimensions to build the case. Lifeproof needs more than just the dimensions to make it waterproof and dust proof. I have had otterbox’s and lifeproof. Will never waste my money again on an otterbox. To big and bulky and the one waterproof case that otterbox has is enormous. Plus I went through more money returning the otterbox for warranty than it was worth. Lifeproof all the way. Worth the wait.

My cases are very important I don’t let the phone come out of the box unless it has a case. I have the Iphone 4 that’s about 4 and a half years old more or less and there is not one scratch on this thing. Keep you current phone in good shape so if you trade it in you will get good money for it. I’m sorry for coming off like a baby but I just like to keep my phones nice in the best shape possible. So again I do apologize for my earlier comment. I just want a life proof case. 😀
I’ll need a compatible belt clip too if I’m going to purchase the LifeProof Nuud for iphone 6 plus. There’s no room to put the iphone 6 plus except on a belt clip. So I hope LifeProof will make a belt clip…
I will be buying the life proof case for my iPhone 6 plus for sure. I just hope the come out with a belt clip. I’ve always had otter box for my cases but my wife loves her life proof and I must say it’s held up well.
I just hope it comes out before the iPhone 7 does….

Thanks for the info Sam I didn’t realize Otterbox owned Lifeproof so I think I will wait on the Lifeproof as well I just got a cheap one from the Verizon store until they are released.
They can’t release this fast enough! Already my phone has a small crack in the left hand bottom corner! I need it now.

my iphone 6plus developed a small crack on the bottom also. I did not have the warranty, but took it back to Apple and they replaced it!
It’s November! Why have they not released this case? My new phone is coming tomorrow and I don’t want to spend anymore money on a cheap case. May have to pull the trigger on a different brand if Life Proof doesn’t release their case in the next few days.
I have just spoken with lifeproof and they were fairly ambiguous I suggest get onto them also
Received an email response to my inquiry of lifeproof about their release date for iPhone 6 case. Their reply was it’s being worked on currently by our engineers. My takeaway from that reply is it’s stuck in R&D and not even in production yet. Likely not available for purchase until pearly next year.
These guys are way behind the 8 ball and many of you like myself have already spent good money on a case… We’ll be lucky to get this by the time the iPhone 7 comes out it seems? Poor execution by what I thought was a leader in accessories…
I had to go out and buy a NewTrent case while I’ve been waiting for the life proof 6plus case to drop. It kinda sucks cuz I was holding out but I needed something to protect it. People are waiting weeks for their 6 plus’ so if something happens to mine, I would be screwed for weeks! Life proof needs to hurry up!
Lifeproof is loosing money and customers daily by not providing a real timeline for the iPhone 6 Plus case!
