The Lenovo Rocstar launches in India for Rs. 6,120

Lenovo isn’t a brand a lot of us turn to when looking for a new smartphone, but the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro certainly got our attention. The company has been churning out smartphone over the past few month, and they have just brought a new one to India with the Lenovo Rocstar A319.

As the name implies, the Lenovo Rocstar is a handset geared towards music lovers that reside in India. Lenovo has added Dolby Digital Plus to give your tunes a boost, and it will come with the Guvera music app which allows you to create and share playlists with your pals. The Rockstar’s 1,500mAh battery is said to provide around 10 hours of music playback as well.

The Lenovo Rocstar specs show a mid-range device with a 4-inch 800 x 480 display. The Rocstar’s horsepower comes from a dual-core 1.3GHz chip and 512MB of RAM, and you’ll get 4GB of internal storage (expandable to 8GB) to work with. In terms of cameras, it has a respectable 5MP/2MP camera combo. The Lenovo Rocstar is a dual-SIM 3G handset, and it will run Android KitKat 4.4.

If you’re looking for a device that’s going to impress your friends and neighbors, the Lenovo Rocstar probably won’t be it. That said, it’s cheap as Lenovo has it listed for Rs. 6,120. If you’re interested in the Lenovo Rocstar, pre-orders have already begun and the first units will roll out on October 28th.
