A new mid-range smartphone from Xolo has just been announced, and this one’s a little different as it features sleek styling with an unusual wooden frame. We have all the details you need on Xolo Q1020 price and specs, so read on for more information on this new arrival for India.

The Xolo Q1020 is another in the Q Core series and is priced at Rs. 11,499. It’s in black or white colour options and has decent specs for the money. These include a 1.3GHz MediaTek 6582 quad-core processor, and a 5-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 and 294 ppi that features Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The dual SIM phone has 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 32GB. The camera arrangement consists of a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, Exmor RS Sensor, and 1080p video capture, as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. There’s a 2100 mAh battery and it runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

It’s 8.7mm thick and connectivity options include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, and the Xolo Q1020 also has a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. Although we’re used to seeing new phones at affordable prices from Xolo, the wooden frame of the Q1020 does make it stand out in a crowd and adds a touch of distinction that may appeal to some buyers.

We’d like to hear your first thoughts on the Xolo Q1020. Do you think this is a good combination of decent specs, price and design? We always appreciate comments so do send them in.
