HTC One M9 aka Hima design choices for preference

#

Up until recently the next HTC flagship has been commonly referred to as the HTC One M9, but recently we’ve heard of a new name for the device, the HTC Hima. Whatever its eventual title there is already a huge amount of interest in this smartphone that we expect to be unveiled in the early part of next year. In the meantime concept designers are coming up with the goods for their visions of the phone and today we have two HTC One M9 aka Hima design choices for preference.

Specs leaks for the HTC M9 /HTC Hima have been increasing recently and just a few days ago we gave details that there could be four variants of the next flagship. However, nothing is confirmed at this stage and another thing we don’t yet know about is what the phone will look like. These latest concept ideas have arrived to tantalize us, and we wonder which you like the best.

The first image (below this paragraph) comes from designer Philipp Pomplun, and his version features slim bezels, and a new UI. It has a squarer, more angular look than we’re used to from HTC, and although the materials haven’t been specified the casing could be made from metal or soft touch polycarbonate. It has a Duo camera offering with dual LED flash, and an interesting touch is hexagonally shaped icons and virtual buttons to each side of the manufacturer’s logo.

HTC One M9 aka Hima

The next HTC One M9 vision comes from reputed concept designer Hasan Kaymak. He has come up with a new video to go with the recent addition of the HTC Hima name, based on a previous concept of the phone. You can view the YouTube video below this story to get a really good idea of this render. This handset is in stark contrast to the first concept above, as it has a distinctly curvaceous look.

Given the very different designs here we’d really like to hear your favorite of the two. Do you prefer Pomplun’s version of the HTC One M9 with its very angular appearance? Maybe for you it’s Kaymak’s HTC Hima that you think hits the spot? Do let us know by sending your comments to us.
