FIFA 15 Ultimate Team app update offers Club Owner content

#

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team by EA Sports is a one of the most well known apps out there. Last month the iOS version of the app was updated as part of Apple’s Apps for (RED) campaign. That has now been replaced with a new iPhone and iPad version, and the latest FIFA 15 Ultimate Team app update offers Club Owner content.

If you don’t already know it, this app features more than 30 real leagues and stadiums, and over 500 teams and 10,000 players. Users can build their dream squads, collect footballing superstars such as Lionel Messi and Wayne Rooney, and much more. The iOS version of the app was updated yesterday to version 1.2.0 and brings new features.

One of these is Club Owner enabling users to unlock new boosts and tactics as they progress and use rewards to strengthen their teams. There’s also Area Focus with players receiving attribute boosts, and a Skill Moves Button feature with a choice between “Through Ball” and “Skill Moves.” The newest version also has an Updated Roster bringing it up to speed with the most recent transfer market.

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team update

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is a free app, although in-app purchases are available. The latest updated version for iOS is available at iTunes and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad running iOS 5.1.1 or later. The app is highly rated among many users but we should point to our recent report about various issues with the app for iOS and Android users that was written before this latest update. Often an update also brings along bug fixes for existing problems, but there’s nothing about this on the ‘What’s New’ section of the app description.

While we hope that there are some improvements on this aspect of FIFA 15 UT, we have to say that a quick look at the latest user reviews on the App Store isn’t particularly promising as there are some negative comments. These are about server issues and lag and also some disappointment over some of the new features. However, we have no way of knowing if these are widespread issues or not, so we’d be interested to hear from readers about this.

Have you already installed the latest iOS update for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team? If so do you like the new features it offers, or perhaps you have noticed some issues with the app yourself? Do let us know by dropping us your comments.
