The Lava Iris 310 released in India for Rs. 3,749

#

Smartphones come in all different shapes and sizes, but most resemble one another to an extent. The Lava Iris 310 Style may be light in the specs department, but it’s unique look and low price make it a handset worth considering.

The Lava Iris 310 Style is one of the latest smartphone’s from Lava, but it certainly isn’t its greatest. It does offer up Android 4.4 for folks on budget, and at Rs. 3,749, it certainly won’t break the bank. As you can see from the photo, it also doesn’t remember an iPhone or any Android handset from recent memory.

In terms of the specs, the Lava Iris 310 Style will come with a small 3.5-inch HVGA display that carries a resolution of 320 x 480. Under the tiny slab of glass, you’ll find a dual-core 1.3GHz MediaTek chip humming away and backed by 256MB of RAM. The storage is even sparser than we expected at 2GB, but it is expandable up to 32GB so you won’t be totally dependent on the cloud.

Some low-end phones skip the snappers, but the Lava Iris 310 Style will come with a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front-facing sensor. Connectivity options include 2G, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE, and micro-USB. The dual-SIM Iris 310 Style will run the aforementioned Android KitKat 4.4, and it’s powered by a 1,400mAh battery.

The Lava Iris 310 Style appears to be a variant of the Iris Style which was announced in the fall.  The device is listed on the company’s official site for Rs. 3,749 in Black, Blue or Brown and should become available in India soon.
