The HP Pro Tablet 408 specs appear online

#

We don’t cover the Windows platform nearly as much as we do Android or iOS, but it does offer a wealth of affordable smartphones and slates. One of the latest examples is the HP Pro Tablet 408, and it has just shown up on the company’s website.

The HP Pro Tablet 408 is a windows-based slate that sports an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800. The tablet measures 8.4” x 5.5” x 0.35” with a weight of 13 ounces, and it has a couple of features other tabs in its class lack with dual stereo speakers and digital pen support.

Under the hood of the HP Pro Tablet 408, you’ll find an Intel Atom Z3736F humming away, and backed by 2GB of RAM. You will have a choice of 32GB or 64GB when it comes to storage capacity, and you can kick that up to 128GB with a microSDXC card. The rear camera is a more than reasonable 8MP while the front-facing snapper clocks in at 2MP. Connectivity options for the Pro Tablet 408 include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI and WiDi display support, and it is powered by a 4,800mAh battery.

The HP Pro Tablet 408 specs are listed on HP’s official site, but the price is not so we may have to wait a little longer to find out the Pro Tablet 408’s price. CES is right around the corner so we may learn more about the new HP slate then.
