If you’re looking for a budget Windows handset, the Microsoft Lumia 435 is a great way to go, and a lot of consumers in India have been looking forward to getting their hands on the smartphone. Well, that day has finally come as the Microsoft Lumia 435 Dual SIM release has arrived for India through the Nokia Shop.

The Microsoft Lumia 435 first popped onto our radar late last year, and folks in the UK are going to be able to pick up the handset on March 1st. The Microsoft Lumia 435 Dual SIM, is the “international” version of the Lumia 435 with 3G Dual-SIM compatibility. Aside from that, it’s the same smartphone as the regular model which means low-end specs.

The display of the Microsoft Lumia 435 Dual SIM uses a 4-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 800 x 480, and under the tiny slab of glass, you’ll find a dual-core Snapdragon 200 humming along. It’s not much, but you’ll get 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage that can be kicked up to 128GB as well.

While the Microsoft Lumia 435 Dual SIM certainly falls into the budget range, it still has a VGA selfie snapper to go along with a 2MP fixed focus lens on its backside. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3G and the aforementioned dual-SIM functionality. The Microsoft Lumia 435 Dual SIM sports a 1,560mAh battery and runs Windows 8.1.

The Microsoft Lumia 435 Dual SIM may not be as speedy as some of the budget devices in its range, but it is a solid smartphone that isn’t going to hurt your pockets. The Microsoft Lumia 435 Dual SIM price is listed as Rs. 5,999 in India, and it’s currently available in White and Black at this time through Nokia’s Shop.
