LG Y70 specs reveal Lollipop 5.0 and 4.7-inch display

#

LG has produced several handsets in its mid-range L series, and the last time we took a look at the lineup it was with the LG L90 and L70 Dual’s that were bound for India. A new device that may fall into that lineup has just been revealed, and it’s known as the LG Y70.

The LG Y70 has shown up online in the Zaubu import-export listings for India. According to Zauba’s database, it arrived at the same time as the LG G Flex 2 and came in from South Korea. These types of listings really don’t divulge much when it comes to the LG Y70 specs, but it does tell us the smartphone will have a 4.7-inch display and is being tested with Android 5.0.

LG puts out a lot of midrange handsets, but the folks at mylgphones believe this could be the successor to the LG L70 based on a previously leaked document listing a LG-H422. The Zauba listing for the LG Y70 shows a per unit price of Rs. 5,286 as well which puts it on par with the Lumia 435 Dual SIM and the Moto E in India in terms of price.

While it remains to be seen what lineup the LG Y70 will find itself in, there’s no doubt it will be a midrange device. That said, it will ship out with Android 5.0 Lollipop when it arrives which is something a lot of phones in its class aren’t currently doing.
