New Samsung Tablet revealed through Benchmark listing

#

Another day, another benchmark listing. We’ve seen a number of new devices make their first appearance through benchmarks in 2015, and you can add the Samsung SM-T561 to that list. It’s another slate from Sammy, and you probably won’t be too impressed by the specs.

The Samsung SM-T561 has shown up not once, but twice as it has made appearances on both GFXBench and GeekBench. That means these specs should be about as legit as it gets, although we have no idea what series the SM-T561 will go into. Sammy has numerous tablet lineups, and this one doesn’t seem to fit into any of the previous ones at the moment.

9.6-inches is the size of the display on the Samsung SM-T561, and it will have a decent resolution of 1,280 x 800. Under the large slab of glass resides a quad-core Spreadtrum SC8830 chip clocked at 1.3GHz and backed by 1.5GB of RAM. The storage space is listed at 8GB, but there’s no mention of a microSD card or cameras at this time.

The Samsung SM-T561 specs show a tablet that shouldn’t break the bank, and it could be a good media slate if the battery is large enough. That said, it will all depend on the price as there are plenty of options out there that offer similar specs with rock-bottom price tags.
