The Gionee Elife S7 smartphone was announced at Mobile World Congress in early March and is an extremely slim handset. It launched in Macau in mid-March and now the Gionee Elife S7 India launch has brought the price of the phone there. Let’s begin with what many readers will be waiting for and that’s the price, which has been set at Rs. 24,999. There are three color choices on offer and they are black, blue or white. Elife S7 specs include a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor, Mali-T760 graphics, a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.

Further specs include a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash, an 8-megapixel front-facing unit, and a 2750 mAh battery. It runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Gionee’s Amigo 3.0 and it’s a dual SIM handset. Connectivity includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG. The phone measures 139.8mm x 67.4mm x 5.5mm and weighs 126g. Features of the Elife S7 include DTS for enhanced audio, a large speaker powered by NXP for a 50% volume boost, and several features to reduce battery consumption and conserve battery life.
