Panasonic P55 Novo price in India at launch

A new Panasonic smartphone has been announced today, and we have details of the device including the Panasonic P55 Novo price in India from the launch. While many readers may have heard of the Panasonic P55 that released last year, the Panasonic P55 Novo has some nicely improved specs.

We’ll begin with the Panasonic P55 Novo price in India and this has been set at Rs. 9,290. The handset will be available in Midnight Blue, Champagne Gold or Smoke Gray colour choices. It has a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, a 5.3-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage (expandable with microSD to 32GB).

Further specs are a13-megapixel rear camera with triple LED flash and 1080p video capture, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with LED flash. It has a 2500 mAh battery, and connectivity options of 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. This is a dual SIM handset with dual standby and it runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

The Panasonic P55 Nova measures 147.9mm x 73.8mm x 8.15mm and it has FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with Peel Smart Remote app that will enable users to control devices including TVs and DVD players with IR LED sensor. It also has features such as Double Tap to lock and unlock and Smart Swipe.

At the launch Panasonic India Managing Director Manish Sharma said,

“With consumer priorities changing radically, we believe in enhancing customer experience by providing them with smart technology on the go. With the new smartphone, we are here to offer a new dimension wherein the model has been specially designed to provide easy accessibility to consumers looking for a single app to control all home devices.”
