The Huge Ramos Q7 Windows Phone rolls through TENAA

It’s not every day we get wind of an interesting new Windows device, but that is what’s happened today thanks to a new TENAA listing. Ramos is behind the large new device, and it’s set to be a mid-ranger called the Ramos Q7.

When most folks think Windows Phone, they generally don’t think of a large device. Well, the Ramos Q7 could prove popular with phablet lovers as it hits the sweet spot with a 7-inch panel featuring a resolution of 1,280 x 720. Unfortunately, you’ll find a lowly 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 under that large slab of glass along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

On the backside of the Ramos Q7 you’ll find a 5MP camera while a 2MP sensor will take care of the selfies. Connectivity options will include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but there is no mention of a microSD card slot or anything else at this time. The Ramos Q7 will draw its power from a 4,000mAh battery, and was listed running Windows Phone 8.1.

As you might suspect, the Ramos Q7 is going to hit China, and it’s up in the air whether it will arrive in other locales. The device will receive the Windows 10 Mobile update once it’s released which is something to keep in mind if the Ramos Q7 price is right.
